Page Loading times are ranking issues, especially with mobiles. Google now specify 1 second as an ideal mobile page load time, and they estimate that 20% of "clicks" drop of for every second thereafter.

Google has a tool to measure this. Google Page Speed.

If you want to know more about how a page loads, in Chrome go to "More Tools" and then "Developer Tools" starting from the top right three dot icon.

Click "Audit" and watch your website be analysed!

One scheme to speed up websites is AMP

Many websites are needlessly slow simply because of large picture sizes. I've seen 2MB plus images used as a background, and on a web designers site to boot!          Easy fixed!
